SAF Series Split Housings
You know it’s field-friendly Miether quality when you see the unique 2-piece flat top design of our SAF Series split pillow block bearing housing.
Designed for reliability and easy maintenance, Miether split bearing housings/pillow blocks are offered in many standard industry configurations such as FSAF, SAFS, FSAFS, SDAF, SDAFD, SDAFS, SAFD, SAW, and SAWS. All housings are supplied with a four bolt cap design and extra heavy foot pad for the most demanding of loads.
FCL-FCS Series Flange Cartridges
Most design engineers spec Miether piloted flange cartridges into their machines and process equipment because of their long service lives and easy maintenance. Designed to reduce mounting dimensions and eliminate shear factor by minimizing the load off mounting bolts, Miether flange cartridge blocks are piloted for serious mounting strength
MMW Series Solid Steel Pillow Blocks
Miether’s base mounted solid steel pillow blocks provide maximum protection against impact loads and minimize radial loading problems experienced with conventional split housings. Our MMW solid pillow blocks consist of a single piece, solid steel body equipped with cast iron end caps and a reinforced center rib, making it capable of withstanding severe shock loads.
Accessories
Miether inventories a complete line of bearing accessories, including tapered adapter assemblies, seal rings, stabilizer rings, auxiliary equipment, and spherical roller bearings for shaft sizes 2-11/16” to 18-½” and even larger. Both fractional and metric sizes are available.
Miether bearing accessories are used worldwide to assist with securing, operation, and removal of bearings, shaft, and the housing as a complete assembly. They’re also hard at work in a variety of industries holding gears, belt pulleys, and other machine parts.
Seals
Miether provides a variety of seals to accommodate the split pillow block SAF series, solid pillow block MMW series, and flange cartridge block FCL/FCS series housings. They are available in fractional and metric dimensions, and can be customized for special applications.
Bearing seals range from a simple seal ring (LER) design to both advanced-contacting and non-contacting type sealing arrangements.
